Our stopover in France was meant to be a brief respite between seeing friends in Germany and Rome. Being our first time to France, we chose somewhere more "rural" than Paris. From the moment we met Coco and saw the flat, it was evident that the charms of this place far outweighed any other option we could have chosen. The first night we opted for a simple meal of cheeses fruit bread and pastries from the local vendors. Something we highly recommend. Our 2nd night we ventured to one of the local restaurants where the food was out of this world! The only thing lacking in our stay here was not having enough time. Thank you Coco for being such a wonderful hostess. We will endeavor to be back and to send as many friends as who will need our advice to visit you. Now off to cooking class!

We have stayed in many rental apartments and cottages over the years, but never had the level of care we experienced with Coco at “My Home in Dijon”. The apartment is bright, clean and very comfortably furnished, with all the amenities (and then some!) that one could need. We were able to do laundry and cook full meals in the well-appointed kitchen, a real treat for my husband after 2 weeks of business travel and restaurant food. When I arrived, traveling solo, Coco gave me a whirlwind tour of Dijon and showed me where to report for my cooking class the next day. (There is a French cooking school a short walk from the apartment!) She also suggested activities for after my husband arrived, and when the weather turned rainy, she kept us posted by email with alternate suggestions. We found plenty of diversion, walking to the botanical gardens one day, and wandering through the incredible covered market and enjoying the Beaux Arts museum (right across the street from the apartment!) when it rained. But most of all we enjoyed our “home base” – where we could relax in the comfort of this beautiful apartment and feel right at home.

Thank you Corinne for a great stay in your apartment. It was a pleasure to be in the middle of the city we have enjoyed a lot. There is no doubt we will be back again.

Dear Corinne, we have had a fantastic stay in your wonderful apartment. Its central location is truly fantastic for exploring Dijon. Thank you for your welcome and all the great communication before we arrived. The flat is really beautifully decorated and the bed is very comfy! We love it here! We will come again.

Coco, Thank you so much for your hospitality! In this time of the disruption of plane service by a volcano eruption in Iceland and of train service by a rail strike, you have been soooo helpful! The entire "week" has been one spent the delightful town of Dijon. We especially enjoyed the Halles market and the Monoprix and Super Marché... cooking all meals in your kitchen. We speak little French. Every shop keeper and people on the street helped us with a smile. With the sun shining we sadly must depart Dijon. Hope to return some day.

We came to Dijon at the end of a 2 week vacation in France. It was wonderful to cook some meals again (we've really enjoyed the fresh bread from the local patisseries)  Our 20 month old son, Lucas, loved the various playgrounds and was royally delighted with the carousel at the market. We relaxed a lot in this lovely flat as well - Lucas was so happy for space to play and he slept very well here too. Thank you Corinne for attending to extras for Lucas - the bed, crib, change pad and parks recommendations, etc. It's all been lovely!

Thanks Coco, We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our visit to your beautiful city! The people, the food, sidewalk cafes - everything we had hoped for would be here and more. Your apartment in the heart of the city was just ideal. Not to mention your wonderful hospitality! Thanks for everything you have done to make our visit so enjoyable!

We can't thank you enough for your warm hospitality and this wonderful apartment. You have thought of everything! We had fun exploring Dijon, Beaune and the charming villages of Burgundy. We loved shopping on Tuesday when the markets were open. And most of all, we enjoyed the kindness of everyone we encountered as we really don't speak much French. We are looking forward to visit again. Merci!

What can we say that has not been already said. Dijon and your flat were even better the second time around. We had ten glorious days. Needless to say - we will be back. Merci.

What a wonderful city, apartment and experience! We loved Dijon and hope to return soon for a longer stay! + by email:  Bonjour Coco! We loved our stay at the flat and felt very very comfortable (it was hard to leave!).  Dijon is a great town and we ate so well and had a wonderful time.  Now it just remains how long we'll have to wait before a repeat visit!  Thank you for your thoughtful stocking of the apartment, our welcome tour, picking us up at the train station, and your flexibility with our crazy departure day!  You are an excellent host and I wish you the best.  Good luck to the boys in their baseball season!

Hello Coco, We have finally returned from France and had a wonderful time. We wanted to drop you a note to say thank-you for sharing your apartment home with us. It was perfect. We loved walking out the door and being in the heart of Dijon. I loved this town and will tell everyone including Rick Steves :) Thank-you for stocking our fridge and all the little treats, it was more than expected. Most of all thank-you for taking care of us, making sure we knew where everything was and driving us to the train station. Your place is perfect, we tell everyone about it!!!!

Dear Coco, Our short stay in your charming and and well provisioned apartment exceeded our expectations. What a perfect place to explore Dijon, our gateway to the Bourgogne region. We walked our tootsies off in a vain attempt to burn off calories from sampling too many wonderful delectable delights - from glace to pain, fromage to vino...chocolat. Recommend Grill Laure! Can't wait for our next visit.

Dear Corinne, we had a wonderful time in Dijon! The apartment is lovely and you really anticipated any and all needs. We appreciated the good communication while planning our trip as well. Thank you very much! We will certainly recommend "my home in dijon" to anyone coming to the area.

Dear Coco, Thank you so much for all the things you did to make our stay in your apartment all the more enjoyable. We had the best weather, which meant we went on lots of long walks around Dijon. On one of the days we hired some bikes in Beaune and rode up to Vosne, to check out some Grand Cru vineyards. We had a wonderful trip and both felt that having the apartment to go back to after a long day of activities was the perfect way to unwind, and get the energy up to find a venue for dinner. Thanks again, and we'll be telling our friends about the apartment. We look forward to staying with you again in the future. Merci!

Dear Coco, Thank you so much for showing us around on our first day. The flat is extremely well equipped and pretty too. We are very impressed with Dijon and its people.  The place is rich in history and the people understandably proud of this, willing to share information steadily and with a smile.  We are touched by how warm and friendly everyone has been and are already planning to visit Dijon again! Merci beaucoup Coco!

Merci Coco for a wonderful introduction to Dijon. The apartment exceeded all of our expectations - and the tour of the city and recommendations also helped to make our stay here 4 STARS! The only problem was... we couldn't stay long enough! We have fallen in love with Dijon, and Burgundy and can't wait to return. We will definitely recommend the apartment to friends and plan to return for a longer stay.

Dear Coco - we have had a splendid stay. Your apartment and Dijon were excellent. After two and a half months travelling the world, what better "home away from home"  to recharge our bodies, spirits and enjoy the best of France Dijon is a truly beautiful city. We found the gardens and lake area to be true gems and the market superb in keeping us weel fed.  As we leave for the next segment of our "grand voyage" we will be sustained by the wonderful memories you, your apartment and Dijon have provided. Thanks again.

Although we arrived in Dijon during an unseasonal cold snap, the warmth of our welcome from Corinne, and the wonderful comforts of the apartment were ample compensation- by our final day, the sun shone, we dined at Stephane Derbord and life was perfect!  We had a truly happy few days in a wonderful area of France, and we will pass on our recommendations to all our friends in the far South of the planet. Thanks Coco.

A bientôt.

We found the studio apartment to be very well equipped and comfortable. We cooked in just about every meal and had no problem with the kitchen supplies. We did day trips and enjoyed the Market days in Dijon. 10 days went by very fast!

Dear Coco, thank you so much for your hospitality and sharing your wonderful apartment with us. Everything was perfect... spotless, comfortable, airy and welcoming! All the special little touches that we appreciated... stocked fridge, candles. robes. chocolate cake, wifi, telephone, and even a set table. The kitchen was a delight to cook all those specialities from the market. You thought of everything. We have travelled extensively throughout Europe and "your place" is on top of the list. Hopefully we will return one day. Merci.

Dear Coco, we can only repeat what all your other satisfied guests have stated - a wonderful apartment in the best possible location and the most thoughful host possible! We found everything perfect in the apartment, and especially appreciated the extras like the computer and telephone. You were highly recommended to us and justifiably so. Your initial welcome and informal guided walk around the neighbourhood made us feel like we had been met by an old friend, and your help with many little things  during the week - bookings, coping with rail strike - will always be remembered. Merci beaucoup.
